Detailed Recap:
The top story of the week is the Los Angeles Rams 20 point comeback win against the Cincinnati Bengals to remain undefeated. The final score of the game was 30 to 23 in favor of the Rams. That comeback is the biggest and greatest comeback we've seen all season long. This Rams team is no joke.
Over in Cleveland the Browns got their 8th win of the season beating the New York Jets 33 to 15. Now the story is with the win over New York and the Colts and Seahawks both losing this week, the Browns find themselves in the 5th seed of the AFC wildcard playoffs heading into week 16. If the Browns win next week, they're in! Hold on tight, because it's going to be a very bumpy ride!
The Miami Dolphins were able to claim the 6th seed as theirs for the week after a win over the Oakland Raiders, 24 to 17. Like the Browns, if they win next week, they're in, however they are playing the Patriots on Monday Night Football. This will not be an easy task to say the least.
The game that stunned the league, the Buffalo Bills managed to go into Foxborough and walk away with a win over New England, 34 to 24. If only this Bills team was able to keep their momentum after starting 5-1 we might be seeing a different AFC East Division champion. Instead the Bills are mathematically out of the playoffs and are hoping to end the season 7-9.
With 5 wildcard spots left to claim, 3 in the AFC and 2 in the NFC, it will come down to the final week of the regular season to find out which teams secure their spot in the playoffs.
Thank you for reading my Friday post, and I'll see you here for the week of the regular season on Sunday.
