Detailed Recap:

Before I dive into the specifics, I want to take a moment to recognize that the first 6 games this week were all won by the home team. That is some crazy odds! Ok, enough chatter, lets talk about the games.

The top story for this week is the big upset win by the New York Jets who beat the New England Patriots 27 to 20. Not only did the Jets manage to beat the Patriots, but they did it on the road in Foxborough! That is no easy task to accomplish!

We had what appeared to be a one sided game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles when Philadelphia got a decent lead early on in the game. Arizona managed to claw their way back and tie up the score to force overtime. The Cardinals were able to find away to get the win this week with a game winning field goal in OT to beat the Eagles, 40 to 37.

That was not the only game that played in overtime. The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions had to go to overtime to decide who would be last in the division. It would be the Detroit Lions that fell to last place in the division after giving up an overtime touchdown and losing to Chicago, 30 to 24.

Our final story has to be about the incredible season by the Los Angeles Rams thus far. They have managed to keep themselves undefeated after beating divisional rival, New Orleans Saints 40 to 37 increasing their season record to 9 wins and 0 losses. This was the closes the Rams got to losing, so we'll have to keep an eye on them next week to see if they can still hold on to the perfect record.

Thank you for reading week 9's results and recap and I'll see you right here on Sunday for our Week 10 breakdown.
