Madden 19 - 1978 NFL Season Remake - Week 7
Posted on January 6, 2019 at 04:12 PM.
We are almost at the half way point. 7 weeks are completed and we have 9 more to go until the playoffs! Here are the scores from this week:

Washington Redskins 6 (3-4) Philadelphia Eagles 30 (4-3)
Buffalo Bills 24 (5-2) Houston Oilers 29 (3-4)
Kansas City Chiefs 34 (7-0) Oakland Raiders 14 (3-4)
Los Angeles Rams 30 (7-0) Minnesota Vikings 28 (4-3)
New Orleans Saints 37 (3-4) San Francisco 49ers 34 (1-6)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 15 (3-4) New York Giants 44 (3-4)
Miami Dolphins 31 (3-4) San Diego Chargers 28 (3-4)
Dallas Cowboys 19 (4-3) Arizona Cardinals 10 (4-3)
Detroit Lions 27 (1-6) Atlanta Falcons 31 (4-3)
New England Patriots 34 (6-1) Cincinnati Bengals 6 (2-5)
Seattle Seahawks 32 (3-4) Green Bay Packers 24 (6-1)
New York Jets 16 (2-5) Baltimore Colts 24 (2-5)
Pittsburgh Steelers 13 (5-2) Cleveland Browns 23 (4-3)
Chicago Bears 31 (2-5) Denver Broncos 10 (1-6)

Week 7's top story is the Seattle Seahawks upsetting the Green Bay Packers 32 to 24 and ending the Green Pay Packers winning streak. This leaves only the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams still undefeated at 7-0.

Next up is another upset but this one comes out of Buffalo as the Houston Oilers were able to walk away with a win over the Buffalo Bills 29 to 24. This 2nd loss for the Bills has me wondering if this could be the end of the Bills? Only time will tell.

Of course we couldn't go a week without at least one game going into overtime. The New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers game went into OT and we saw the Saints get the win over San Francisco 37 to 34. This gives the Saints a little more buffer from being last in the conference and the league. Luckily for New Orleans they are in the same division as the 49ers so they are not last in the NFC West.

Our final story comes from New York. The Giants were able to get their 2nd blowout win this season over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 44 to 15. The Giants tied for the 2nd most points scored in a game this season and also hold the record for most points scored in a game this season at 45 in week 4 over the 49ers. I want to point out that the Giants scored 44+ points in 2 of only 3 wins, so when the Giants win, they apparently win big.

That's all for week 7 and I hope you come back on Tuesday for Week 8's results and recap. Thank you all for being here.
