Madden 19 - 1978 NFL Season Remake - Week 2
Posted on December 26, 2018 at 05:40 PM.
Hello everyone, and before we dive into Week 2 I want to apologize for not posting this yesterday as I promised. As you know it was Christmas and I ended up being more busy than I expected which is why I wasn't able to post yesterday. Anyway, without any further delay here are the results from Week 2 of the season:

Detroit Lions 20 (0-2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24 (2-0)
Houston Oilers 17 (0-2) Kansas City Chiefs 20 (2-0)
Cincinnati Bengals 0 (0-2) Cleveland Browns 33 (1-1)
New York Jets 21 (1-1) Buffalo Bills 27 (2-0)
Seattle Seahawks 6 (1-1) Pittsburgh Steelers 24 (1-1)
New England Patriots 14 (1-1) Arizona Cardinals 41 (2-0)
Atlanta Falcons 21 (1-1) Los Angeles Rams 28 (2-0)
Chicago Bears 37 (1-1) San Francisco 49ers 21 (1-1)
Dallas Cowboys 35 (1-1) New York Giants 30 (0-2)
New Orleans Saints 17 (1-1) Green Bay Packers 24 (2-0)
Miami Dolphins 27 (1-1) Baltimore Colts 9 (1-1)
Oakland Raiders 6 (1-1) San Diego Chargers 24 (1-1)
Philadelphia Eagles 32 (1-1) Washington Redskins 20 (0-2)
Denver Broncos 17 (0-2) Minnesota Vikings 30 (1-1)

2 weeks are in the books now and I have a few things to mention from this past week.

First and foremost, the Cleveland Browns accomplished what I didn't expect anyone to do all season, they got a shutout! That's right! The Browns annihilated the Bengals 33 to 0. No one saw that coming, not even me and the Browns are my real life favorite team. It was nuts!

Moving on, the Seattle Seahawks weren't able to but any points up on the board then entire first half. They only managed to score 2 field goals in the 2nd half in their loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This win was really good for the Steelers coming off of that loss in week 1 to the Buffalo Bills. The not only beat a good team, but they bead a divisional rival and by a pretty good margin.

The last thing to note for Week 2 is they enormous upset by the Arizona Cardinals as they completely blew out the New England Patriots 41 to 14. This comes on the same week as the shutout by the Browns.

We are only 2 weeks into this season and it's already off to an insane start. I can't wait to see what the rest of this season has in store for us and I hope you all keep following along!
