Anton Dickerson led the Bison in his first collegiate game to a 62-53 victory over Texas A&M-CC. We played the first half of our lives claiming a 17 point lead going into the locker rooms. It looked as though Texas A&M-CC might make a comeback, but our defense stepped up to make the great plays in the 2nd half. He had 11 points on 50% shooting, 5 assists and a steal. Gary Lawrence also added 9 points in 5 minutes off the bench. The team played overall great defensively, forcing many turnovers while the offense worked out the kinks. #5 of Texas A&M-CC had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, but it just was not enough.
