We are a quarter of the way through the season already and the Colts remain perfect. Even though their record is unblemished they still have done with to do. More specifically on the offensive side of the ball. Andrew Luck had a game where he threw three picks, to bring his yearly total up to eight. This offensive unit needs to get things going
A sloppy game in Jacksonville with 4 total turnovers gave the Colts a scare but they ultimately came out with a win. At the half the score was 10-3 in favor of Jacksonville, with both offenses unable to get anything going. The Colts struggled mightily and trailed 13-3 entering the fourth. The Colts finally were able to put up points with help from the defense who gave them a short field to work with. The defense was also able to put up a touchdown themselves in the fourth. Andrew Luck is still being criticized for his interceptions and the offense will need to improve in order for this team to keep winning.

Week 2 is now in the books and while the Indianapolis Colts come out 2-0 there are some signs of concern. The inconsistency from the team as a whole can ruin this team down the stretch. While Andrew Luck only had the incompletions this game, two of them went for picks. And both those picks came after his two touchdown passes. The receiving was led by tight end Colt Lyerla, where are the receivers?!?! Somebody needs to step up and get this passing game on the right track. On the other side of the ball the defense only allowed three points and made tough plays all game. If the defense can keep shutting down teams, it'll give the offense done wiggle room. A shocking fact so far is that running back Knile Davis has started the season with back-to-back 100 yard games. This is unheard of in a Colts backfield. If he can keep it up the offense can gain a balance unmatched to previous versions.
GAME BALL - TE Colt Lyerla
The first game of the season is in the books. We saw a low scoring affair and an old school mentality in this game. Both teams effectively ran the ball but could not get their passing game going. After an uneventful first quarter, Indianapolis opened up the scoring to take a 10-0 lead at halftime. They came out in stride during the second half putting up 14 points in the third. Denver was shut down all game until the 4th quarter, where they managed a touchdown but failed 2 point conversion. The Indy run game seems like it could be a positive factor this season, but the run defense was gashed too often and could end up being the team's Achilles heel.
GAME BALL - RB KNILE DAVIS
The regular season is about to kick off and there has been a flurry of changes in the locker room. One of the biggest surprises is the departure of long time receiver Reggie Wayne. With the team looking to get younger a series of trades, signings, and cuts brings in plenty of new faces. Another noticeable move is the fact that Trent Richardson has fallen all the way down to 3rd string. Is the former first round pick's time in Indianapolis coming to an end? Find out who all the starters are below.
After a long off-season we are finally back to football!! Rumors swirled the Colts and we now have official confirmation that Chuck Pagano is out and first year head coach Luis Muņoz is in. Muņoz is excited to take over a team with do much potential, he was quoted saying "right now everyone in the building is fighting for a roster spot, and we will create nothing short of a winning culture." With a team 2 years removed from the great Peyton Manning, and considered to have over achieved the past two seasons the road to Glendale will be a tough one. If the Colts take a step back all fingers will be pointing to higher management and we might see more turnover at this same time next year.
