Just have to give a warning to who reads this. I am going to rant at some point about Alex Barron. With that out of the way.

Green Bay Week 6

During Week 6, the Packers put it all together to go 6-0 over the Miami Dolphins. It was a tough game at times, but they played solid defense enough to get the job done. Down the road, it looks to be getting tougher and tougher as the previous superbowl champion NY Jets are in line to play the Upstart Packers.

Green Bay Improves to 5-0

It was a rough start for the now division leading Packers, Who fumbled the ball on their oppening drive and Fumbled a punt recovery to boot. (lost both). But Despite that, the Packers managed to keep up with the Redskins offense. And just before half kicked a FG to take the lead-

24-21. The game was a close contest until Will Blackmon returned a punt 89yards for a touchdown to give the Packer a 10pt lead in which they never looked back. They went on to win 38-35

Green Bay Improves to 4-0

It was a very hard game out there vs the Detroit Lions. Before the game they shared the lead with us, and we came in expecting a big game. Boooooooy did we ever get it. The Lions are everything we expected and then some.

We managed to execute well, and play to our ability early. But then the Lions tried for a repeat of the preseason game. This time, even though they grabbed the lead. We managed to hang on for the win.

I already described how I wasnt too excited for Madden this year. Mainly for the simple fact that EA basically said they werent going to change much with the game because of the new gameflow thing. And They delivered on that promise....

Lakers Back Together and my Thoughts

Well the Lakers managed to hold on to every major piece that they could have lost in free agency. (Except for Jordan Farmar) And after watching the Heat build their roster, Obviously they are going to be a threat to the Lakers eventually if not this year. and you know how I feel about "Band wagon fans" already (See 1st blog entry).

I didn't have high expectations, for the game coming in after playing the demo. I played the retail copy of Madden and it was a little better than the demo in my opinion. But this year.... I Didn't feel the hype of Madden like I did last year.

Last year with all the changes they made...It had me ready to play the moment it came out!!! After hearing this year that they weren't going to do many changes. to the core of the game....that broke my spirit.

As a Cowboys fan, I was lucky to grow up in the early 90's and watch my Team go to 3 super bowls in 4 years. It was pretty amazing. I have been waiting for this day for a long time.

Many people may say he is not the Best Running back of all-time, And Of course, there is merit to comparisons to Barry Sanders and Jim Brown, Walter Payton. Miami Heat "Fans"

One thing I have noticed a lot lately. Is that many fans, aren't really "team" fans these days. And that bugs me. When a player leaves a team. A small portion of their fan base goes with them. I am a Laker fan, and when Shaq left people asked me who I was gonna side with Kobe or Shaq.
