Emmitt Finally Gets His Day

As a Cowboys fan, I was lucky to grow up in the early 90's and watch my Team go to 3 super bowls in 4 years. It was pretty amazing. I have been waiting for this day for a long time.

Many people may say he is not the Best Running back of all-time, And Of course, there is merit to comparisons to Barry Sanders and Jim Brown, Walter Payton. Many people can say they are better than Emmitt, which again is a reasonable argument. Or that he had a beastly offensive line which is very true.

But during Emmitt Smith's Career to me, there is no running back that can come close to Emmitt. The way he played every down, it was like his Last. I may be biased, because Dallas is my team, but as a friend of mine always says.

"Men lie....women lie....But stats never lie." And if you go purely off the stats...Emmitt Smith is the best running back of all time. And Today....he gets his day to shine. Congrats to a great Player! and to all of the HOF Class of 2010!!!!!

That was an amazing speech. And you know.... I almost thought he would forget about Old "Moose" but man....did he save one of the best thank you's for last. Daryl Johnston was by far one of the most Unsung blockers of that Cowboys team....amazing speech. Not only by Emmitt. But everyone What a class huh?

Jerry wasn't half bad either...that darn 49er. LOL
