My Player Game 68: Season 1

It has been a bit since my last update!

Dino Biel, who went into the all-star break with many questions on his mind about the team and his performance got a chance to play in the Rookie V. Sophmore game. What a game he had! He came into the game ready to prove His talents weren't a fluke. His playing time was suprisingly low but it was all in good fun. He finished the game with a highlight dunk on Derrick Rose (

) and 20pts along with 5rebounds and 5 assists.

Since the game, he has steadily been improving Getting around 20ppg and 4rpg and the team has been improving as well. Since the unruly departure of Rudy Gay the team seems to have been playing better and ready to make a push to the playoffs. Right now the team is hanging on to the 7th seed for dear life. And hopefully Dino will get to see his first playoff action of his career. After the last game vs. the New York Knicks who almost managed to knock off the Grizzlies Dino was quoted in saying that "The locker room and my team mates have been great! I look forward to coming into practice and seeing the team work so well, we couldn't be happier."

Some people have looked at that as a slight to Rudy Gay. Rudy Gay also had a response to what Dino said. "Same thing I told you guys from the beginning. If I didn't mess my ankle up this bum wouldn't have a career. Plain and simple. The Grizzlies will realize the mistake they made." he went on to say without being asked. "I am loving my Golden State teammates and we are already in the playoffs! we have the 5th seed and we don't plan on losing it! I hope his team can hang on. cause it would be a real shame if they didn't make it without me."

The way it is sitting it doesn't look like a first round match up would be likely if the Grizzlies can sneak in. But, would that be one helluva turnout if it were to come true. We can only hope!

Honestly I hope I do play the Warriors in the Playoffs. but if one of us (might be me) plays the lakers its like running into a buzz saw. I haven't been able to beat them in any attempt.
