My Player Game 56: Season 1

It was previously reported in my last My Player Blog entry that Rudy Gay walked off the court during a game where Dino Biel had one of the shinning moments of his career. 6 games later. as Dino tuned his TV to ESPN. They showed breaking news that Rudy Gay had been traded to the Golden State Warriors! Dino actually found out from ESPN before the team told him, The Grizzlies traded Rudy Gay straight up for David Lee.

30 minutes later, ESPN contacted Dino about the trade, Dino was so stunned he had no comment for the reporters besides "We will see how it plays out on the court."

On the court, Dino was dazed and confused by the events of the day and it showed. 14pts 3 rebounds 3assists and 8 turnovers in a loss to the Lakers. It seems as though the Lakers have the rising Grizzlies number this year. They destroyed the grizzlies by 25points and Kobe dropped 35 of his own. In the post game interview Dino said it was his turn overs that cost the team the game, and he would work on it and continue to improve. It was also announced that he would be participating in the Rookie Vs. Sophomore game during the All Star Weekend. which got fans excited in Memphis.

It was clear that Dino was playing without a saftey net in the first time in his very brief NBA career. Will this be a sign of things to come? Or is it just one small hiccup on his road to the NBA Hall of fame? As they head in to the All Star Break. They Grizzlies are left with more questions than answers.
