Potter vs Pierce
that's the storyline of this week, it was a close game, but the score will not show how crazy the game really was.
In the first half Aggies only scored 14 points while the Broncos scored 31.
Alex Hart threw a pick six frustrating himself and causing the whole downhill turn of events, the Aggies fumbled on the kickoff which resulted in a Touchdown also.
I tried asking Potter what was going on and he about slapped me in the face! I don't know what he told his team at half time, but once the second half started the Broncos could NOT score at all and the Aggies took over and won the game.
STATS COMING SOON
Marino played the Texas Longhorns as their first game and were obliterated, he asked me not to publish his stats.

Three new coaches have entered into the ranks of the NCAA
Harry Potter, the new coach of the Utah State Aggies
Dre Pierce, the new coach of the Western Michigan Broncos and lastly
Dan Marino, the new coach of the Army Black Knights!
These three coaches actually were all on the same coaching staff for a Utah Highschool team. Potter was the Head Coach, he just simply had the most experience, Dan Marino ruled as the OC, he could not be stopped and Pierce rounded them all out nicely with some nice blitz's and defense. Now those three friends are all going to different teams and trying to get them to a BCS Conference in the new NCAA's Promotion/Relegation system!
I actually sat down and interviewed Dre Pierce and this is what I got from him
INTERVIEW W/ DRE PIERCE (WESTERN MICHIGAN COACH)
Q: Why did you choose to coach Western Michigan?
A: I chose Western Michigan because they were one of the only schools that believed in me when I was coming up, I’ve always liked their program and I really admire their running backs skills and I aim to improve them to a higher caliber.
Q: What do you think about the new BCS Conferences?
A: It makes things better for small schools that don’t always get the chance to go anywhere, bowl games, or BCS conferences. Promotion/Relegation is a good system and I think it’ll throw us all a curveball!!
Q: What do you think of the 2 new coaches, Harry Potter for Aggies and one for Army
A: The guy from the Aggies has been a long time close friend of mine, actually they both have. We shared a lot of memories over the years and being in the same conference is going to only bolster our competetiveness
Q: Playing the Aggies in the first game do you feel nervous or are you feeling it’ll be a breeze
A: I am nervous! The Aggies have a good organization, especially under coach Potter. I’m nervous for every game though, because winning doesn’t have to do with how “good” your team is. Because teams that look good on paper, don’t always produce.
Q: How long do you think it’ll take for you to move up to a BCS Conference or get a better job somewhere else?
A: It’s gonna take awhile, you can’t just pop up on the scene and be like “Yeah winnings what I do.” You have to be good, but also consistent.
Q: What kind of recruits are you looking for this year?
A: I would like to get another RB to back up and take the load off for our current starter, we are also looking for a SCRAMBLING Quarterback. I want them to be like me, confident, ready to play, never give up.
He seems like a confident man, ready to win, but only time will tell.
Potter has actually already updated his depth chart to show who is starting this year and it is as follows

Potter has said he chose to go with Freshman Alex Hart based on his talents from High School and is hoping that it will excel the team into a different breed. He wants to make the BCS Conference his second year, which is quite a feat considering Boise State most likely will go this year.
Potter's first game is actually versus his long time friend and rival, Dre Pierce.

Benjamin Diaz's first stint as the coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats ends in a win, not only was it a win, but it was also an upset.
The Arizona State Sundevils came into the game with a confidence about them, a swagger that said they couldn't be beat, but they did not expect the Bearcats DEFENSE to be the reason they would have to worry.
Right after the kickoff the Bearcats could not stop the No Huddle offense of the Sun Devils, they were already in the red zone when the Quarterback made a mistake and threw a pick. This was just the first of this Quarterbacks mistakes, he eventually got benched and who was subbed in was surprisingly really better. Ben Diaz said "I didn't like how our offense was until the end of the 2nd Quarter, we had the ball with 40 seconds left and ended the drive with a Touchdown. What more can you ask for?"
Fast forward to the end of halftime, something must've happened inside the locker room because once DJ Woods received the kick BOOM! He was off to the races!!
We interviewed Brandon Mills who had an impressive day today posting up 10 tackles and 4 sacks here is an excerpt from the interview
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: How close was this game actually? The score shows blowout, but how was it in the trenches?
A: "Right now I just feel relieved, relieved we won our first game of the season. It was a hard fought game and I got in and made a few plays and did my job. We as a team did our Job."
Q: Did you even know you recorded 4 sacks in that game? That's amazing!
A: "No I didn't, I just kept going and going. I never really focus on how many tackles I'm getting or how many sacks, I focus on producing just like my Coach wants me to."
The Bearcats start off the season with an impressive win, and only time will tell if it was just a fluke, or if it was the making of something bigger.
