IMO:

KD isn't a top 5 player in the nba yet; he's just a scorer at this point

Howard is way too inconsistent offensively to be in the top 5. He needs to be more dominant and he needs to be more of a leader. Melo showed that he is willing to defend the best player on the court in the conference finals two years ago. Melo is the 2nd best offensive player in the NBA and can get his points any time. I agree that Durant needs to be better defensively and I believe he needs to become a better passer. Once he does these two things, then he will be the best player in the NBA.

Dwight has moves, he just doesn't use them. Both Ewing and Hakeem have publicly said Dwight has good low post moves he just doesn't use them. As much as I hate to say it Kobe is the best player in the league.

LBJ gets dropped cause he hasn't beaten a good team or even challenged a good team in the playoffs. Kobe is a champ, D-Wade is a champ, Durant pushed the Lakers to a game 7.
