With the start of the men’s college basketball season right around the corner, the Eastern Eagles are hoping for a more successful season.

The Seahawks rallied from a 17-point deficit to defeat the Detroit Lions Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

The Lions (1-7) jumped out to a 17-0 lead, but the Seahawks (3-5) scored 25 unanswered points en route to a 32-20 victory.

The Seahawks defense picked off five passes, one returned 61-yards for a touchdown by Josh Wilson. Seattle’s defense sacked Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford twice and recovered a fumble.

Why I love Madden 10

I love football. I love the Titans, it hurt me when they could barely win four games a year, and I'm hurting a lot right now. Combine these two passions and what happens? My love for Madden, and not just the new one.

I buy Madden year in and year out. I am not an EA fan boy since I also buy NBA 2K every year. I buy it to play NFL football. Sure I care about simulated season stats, and yeah I hate how I can take Vince Young, win the MVP if I cheese enough, but he can still be ... Read More

Before I go on a rant about this, remember I love sports, I am obsessed with them, and I plan on making a career out of it. Also, I hate baseball. I used to love it. I loved watching Griffey and A-Rod. I loved seeing Randy Johnson pitch a strong eight innings and then seeing Norm Charlton finish it off. The Martini brothers, the buzz cut nights, and every "Grand salami."

Evergreen State to Evergreen Jerseys?

This past April, on April Fools day there were leaked images off an alternate, lime green jersey, for the Seattle Seahawks. What happened was not what was expected.

What started out a a joke turned into something that fans started craving, they wanted these jerseys NOW. They got them, in the store and online. You could order a lime green jersey if you wanted, but it still didn't feel like a legitimate jersey since the Seahawks never actually wore them.

This year has not started the way the Tennessee Titans expected it would. They lost a heart breaker at Pittsburgh. Their secondary decided to take the weekend off during the Texans game. Somehow our rookie returner is not quite sure how to catch that football.

It seems like only a week ago the Titans were the number one seed, home field advantage and ready to get back to the super bowl. Then time stopped...for Joe Flacco to be exact.
