Sitting in the Cavs locker room in preparation for what most people believe will be the coronation of the new kings of the NBA. Durant signed in the summer of 2016 and he promised to bring a championship to this great city but 2 years of early round exits left critics wondering aloud if Kevin Durant and this staff could deliver that ever elusive NBA championship. KD finals statline reads 24pts 7rb 5as in 3 games...he looks ready to add ring #2 to his legacy and maybe help propel one of Clevelands young stars into elite status all in one fell swoop.

When asked if he would accept his 24 mil player option next year or opt out and become a free agent Durant calmly replied "We still have a little piece of business called the NBA finals..that's my focus right now, everything else is secondary."
