Just a few minutes ago, the Titans have announced that they have traded away Will Witherspoon. He was reportedly being shopped by the team and now the trade is official. In the trade with the Lions, the Titans will receive Juilian Peterson, Maurice Morris, and Derrick Williams.

Here are the official terms of the trade:

Titans Receive:

OLB Julian Peterson 86 Overall
RB Maurice Morris 74 Overall
WR Derrick Williams 62 Overall
5th Round Draft Pick


Lions Receive:

OLD Will Witherspoon 82 Overall
WR Damian Williams 71 Overall
3rd Round Draft Pick





In other news, the Titans are expected to release Alvin Pearman and Jamie Winborn.
