Damn, this movie was great. Not quite as good as the best animated family films like Beauty and the Beast and The Iron Giant, but it's right below that matching any of Pixar's best efforts. It starts off really slow, but its second half is pretty flawless.

I was unimpressed. Definitely not as good as Pixar's best, in my mind (WALL-E and Up, to be precise). The 3D was pretty interesting if you saw it in a digital theater, but other than that, I wasn't blown away by it. It was kind of average despite the clearly impressive effort that went into creating it.
