I really liked Iron Man and the Hulk. Wall-E and Kung Fu Panda (was that this year) were also great family movies. I don't get to see too many movies though.

I'm one of the few that didn't like the Dark Knight. I won't rehash my arguments here.

Iron Man and The Hulk were top-notch superhero movies (also Hellboy 2). However, structurally, IMO they just felt like every other superhero movie. They didn't have any real standout flaws, but nothing really grabbed me either.

The Dark Knight was totally different than any other superhero movie I've seen. It was like a real crime drama. If it didn't have Batman at all, I still would have thought it was a good movie. The fact that it was a superhero movie doing all of this makes it great despite some logical flaws I could go into.
