Breaking news out of Edmonton as the Oilers have fired Craig MacTavish from his General Manager position after failing to make the playoffs for the 8th consecutive year.

The Oilers announced that they have hired Danglesnipecel9 as the new General Manager.

The team held a press conference to introduce their new GM.

Q: "The team is in a tough position right now with impatient fans and unclear futures of some players. What is your plan to turn this around?"

A: "I think we have some good young peices to play around with. My first course of action will be evaluating the team on and off the ice."

Q: "Being born in Edmonton, were you a fan of the Oilers growing up?"

A: "I was. It seems like not that long ago guys like Gretzky and Messier were cruising around the ice. Now they are all hanging from the rafters as mere memories."

Q: "How much pressure do you feel like you're under taking this tough job?"

A: "There is no doubt in my mind that this won't be a walk in the park. However that being said, I am definetly up to the challenge."
