RTTC Strategy - Part 6 - Should I even try if I have no Star Pros? - the short answer is NO!

This use to be one of my favorites events until the last one. I wanted to wait if they changed the point structure, but they did not. At my level, I am almost at Star + for RTTC. That should allow me to do at least +5 for the first Star card (but it was not). I have 25 fully trained Leg Pros (non event cards) or Star singles fully trained.

I bought a 48k RP pack thinking, ok. i should be able to get at least the first Star. No way. Not even enough time in the event to go +2 (or +4 with HS for the first star card). Not to mention is it worth the price of buying HS to get the first star that is unauctionable. When I can get one off the Auction House that I want for less.

I will break it down for you. I have been told you need a minimum of 4 fully trained Star Pros (or Leg KG + 3 Star Pros) you can sometimes go +5 for the first star.

80 total hours of game play = Maximum of 324 free game nights. (this is if you do not miss even one)

each level (R 98, SR 168, UR 196, E 294,364, L 420,448, S 644,749, RTTC 945)

If you did not miss any other games you could get a total of 1,590 points (at +7) getting you the first legend with 1,540 points. Not much help for most. So you have to HS.

Here is the breakdown if you HS the entire way.

event breakdown - this is based on going +14 (Thru the first 7 cards, Legendary Foil), then going +4 the rest of the way. Not even listing the last card, because you might have to lose your way there.

you would have to buy 303 HS to make it thru the first star. And also only get 5 hours of sleep for the 3 entire days. Just the Hot streaks would cost you 96 k in RP. For the first star, plus lack of sleep. Most likely will miss some GNs and have to buy some. I am not even figuring out the cost for the Foil Ray Allen. As you can see not worth it.

Spend countless hours, and 96k for single Ray Allen. Or get him for half the price on AH. You can almost get a Pro for that price.

Good Luck to those that have the deck to go further. But it really isn't worth it. RTTC is dead to me for now...
