Madden 23 - Year End Review / Thoughts Going Forward:

I almost made this a post in the main forum, but I figured that the main points I want to make here would get lost in the abyss.

They have to start going to a multiple year development cycle. They started the code well over a year ago for all that M23 has going on, and it's clearly still not working, clearly still getting patched and surely more is to come. Like it or not, we are all experiencing a multi-year dev cycle, honestly. They can no longer claim that consumers will wait for "the new game." We're still waiting because this shiz keeps not working correctly or sometimes just not working at all. We quite technically do not have the full new game of M23 at all yet.

I could list a ton of things that we all want per any further iterations of the Madden game, but I think I've nailed it down to what we need to ask for the most. It's customization. Hear me out - the game best becomes what we all want it to be only because of customizations options (and/or only when they work). Otherwise, we're all lighting torches and grabbing pitchforks. Over and over, year after year, it's the customization (including ratings, sliders, etc.) that ever allow us to enjoy the game or even just tolerate it. Going forward, it makes the most sense to just open it up wider and give us every customization option possible.

Seriously, just give the next Madden the same options in The Show, NHL, NBA2K and Fifa, and it's going to make an exponential difference in customer reviews. Bank on it.
