Pick #1 - 8th Overall
GOALIE - ALEXANDRE ST. ARNAUD
"Alex is a future starting goaltender in this organization, Jimmy Howard is in his prime and we understand that, but he was the best available at #8 and that's why we took him, you take the best available at 8."

Pick #2 - 12th Overall
RIGHT WINGER - ADAM ERNE
"We love what Adam can give to a team. He is a great defensive player that has some offensive pop to him. He is already ready to play in the NHL at a physical level, he just needs to work on his skating and develop his puck skills."

Pick #5 - 49th Overall
RIGHT WINGER - SVEN ANDRIGHETTO
"We watched Sven alot the past few seasons, his skating and puck skills are elite, however, his defensive game is not the best positionally, though he backchecks very hard. He is a magician with the puck and we hope he can bring that to the NHL level in a possible future 3rd or 2nd line role.

Pick #6 - 51st Overall
DEFENSEMAN - NIKITA ZADAROV
"I feel like this is a gem in the rough pick, we can't believe he dropped to 51. He uses that huge frame (6' 5", 231) to his advantage, he's a beast among men. We think he can be a valuable asset to our franchise heading forward."

Pick #9 - 76th Overall
DEFENSEMAN - JORDAN SUBBAN
"Obviously Jordan has the family genes and it was a good thing we were able to pick him up. We like his offensive game as a Dman, but he needs to get better defensively to become a NHL contributor."

Pick #10 - 87th Overall
LEFT WINGER - CHAD ROBINSON
"Chad was the only LW we picked in this draft, and the office is OK with that, he has some size and a wicked shot with a knack for finding guys through traffic with his passes, his overall game is not NHL ready but we are looking forward to his improvement over time."
