Franson and Raymond Go To The Lonestar State
One day after a 2-0 preseason loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, the Dallas Stars decided to shake up their defense and dump some salary cap in the process.
The Stars sent defensemen Alex Goligoski, left wing Dustin Jeffrey, the rights to center Mike Winther and goalie Philippe Desprosiers, and a 2014 6th Round Draft Pick to the Toronto Maple Leafs for longtime Leafs defensemen Cody Franson and left wing Mason Raymond.
The Stars are currently 0-1-1 in the preseason and will play the Winnipeg Jets (1-1-0) on September 20th. Franson and Raymond are expected to be in the lineup.
