Cavs Lose Season Opener

The Cleveland Cavaliers (0-1) drop their season opener to the defending eastern conference champ Boston Celtics (2-0) by the score of 89-88. It was a battle to the end as the Cavs battled back from an 15 point deficit in the 3rd. The Celtics lead for most of the way with their only mishap being a injury to Kendrick Perkins in the 1st qtr.

The Cavs were lead by Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison who finished with 22 & 20 points. Tracy Mcgrady chipped in a additional 17 points despite being injured twice in the game.
