Playing perhaps its most complete game of the season, Buffalo dominated both sides of the ball in a convincing 31-10 road victory over the New York Jets in an AFC East matchup.
The Bills' defense was stout, allowing just 94 yards of total offense. Jets rookie quarterback, Mark Sanchez, was flustered all game by the Bills and could never find a rhythm.
The lone bright spots for the Jets were a 101-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Leon Washington in the first quarter that gave the team its only lead of the game. Cornerback Darrell Revis intercepted a Ryan Fitzpatrick pass in the 3rd quarter that led to a field goal.
For Buffalo (4-2), the running backs made several big plays. Fred Jackson caught a pair of touchdown passes and Marshawn Lynch also scored on a pass play, as the backs were a favorite target of Fitzpatrick, who was forced to often throw to his safety valves due to the constant blitzing by the Jets.
Strong safety Bryan Scott broke his forearm late in the 4th quarter and will likely miss the rest of the regular season.
