Be A GM freeze ... shame on EA

I just finished my first year of my Colorado Avalanche Be A GM in NHL 10. Advanced to the Western Conference Finals, losing in 6 games to the Columbus Blue Jackets. I enter the off-season mode and the game begins to freeze every time I try and start the draft.

I do some research and find the freezing issue is very common in BAG. I re-load the game and try to create a backup save file (many suggested this as a possible workaround) but my game FROZE MID-SAVE, thus corrupting my file. People have suggested to install the game on your HDD (I only have a 20-gig so can only install 1 game at a time and have NCAA B-Ball on there right now) and to have multiple save files but really, those are things I shouldn't have to mess with. When you spend $60 on a game, you expect it work properly. BAG was a big selling point on the back of the box, yet the mode is filled with bugs and glitches.

Played 100 games and all that work and enjoyment is gone forever. Very, very frustrating. Why this was never properly addressed by EA is beyond me. I think NHL 10 is the best sports game on the 360 right now but this freezing issue in BAG is a crippling issue. I'm not sure if I want to continue playing the game after losing all of my work.

I'm so mad at this point that I just want to take my 360 (I'm on No. 3), trade in all my games and just get a PS3. Of course, there are no PS3's in stock near me, so I may have to wait a bit to do that but at this point, I think I need a fresh start.

Microsoft and EA have both really let me down with their inability to make properly-functioning games and consoles.
