St. Louis -- Brett Favre was benched in the second quarter of Minnesota's 23-14 victory over the St. Louis Rams following his third interception of the half.

Favre, who was 3-of-9 for less than 50 yards, was replaced by Sage Rosenfels. Favre did not return to the field after the benching.

Vikings owner Prince Jackson will hold a press conference tomorrow to address the developing situation.

Lol...thats funny as hell. I know farve will start the season but, its funny to see them trying to pull a Mcnabb. Maybe they think it will make him better!? Worked for Mcnabb.

I used to like Farve but, now I just want to see a epic fail on his part. He should just sit back and wait for that trip to canton and his future HOF team.

LOL my bad. I wasn't trolling though. It caught my eye on a main OS page while I was watching preseason games on NFL Network and I seriously thought he was trying to mess with people.
