Trying to find my way with MLB 13 The Show

Yesterday I played MLB 12 The Show, immediately followed by MLB 13 The Show. While I've had my issues with MLB 13, it is clearly the better game. The hit variety, faster game time (MLB 12 can sometimes take forever between pitches with the broadcast camera cuts), improved score bug and refined graphics make the game worth the price of admission.

I've already documented my issues with The Show Live, so I won't re-hash that.

For whatever reason, I just can't get into Franchise Mode this year. Perahps part of that is mental fatigue from playing all 162 games in MLB 12. I don't know if I'm up for that again this year. But, I really don't like simming games. I've tried that in a few franchises this year and it just doesn't feel right to me.

Selecting a team has proven difficult, too. Since I'm still playing MLB 12 here and there and using the Mets, I don't want to necessarily use them again MLB 13, even if they would be a great candidate for a Franchise. I like the Rockies (that's the test franchise I've done) but have just had a hard time immersing myself in that particular franchise.

Perhaps I need to change leagues. The AL has several teams that I would be comfortable using over the course of a Franchise:

Toronto
Pros: love the uniforms, the competitiveness of the AL East and a solid lineup.
Cons: having to use R.A. Dickey again (I've had enough of that knuckeball after using the Mets from MLB 10-12) Not a fan of the stadium.

Baltimore
Pros: great uniforms, awesome ballpark and another strong lineup.
Cons: pitching staff is suspect. Could be too easy to win with that lineup.

Kansas City
Pros: stadium, uniforms, good farm system and a lot of young talent at MLB level
Cons: will the young guys play to their potential? Pitching depth is a question.

Minnesota
Pros: my favorite broadcast pitching camera in the game, and favorite ballpark.
Cons: team has a LOT of question marks.

What do you guys think? Any opinions on what team out of those four I should use and why?
