The last 2K volume to have SPECIFIED RUNNER/FLOATER signature shots was NBA 2K13. The attention to detail that moves like this lends to gameplay is immeasurable. Although 2K doesn't exactly FOCUS on accurate depictions of EVERY players shot, it is the little things that make gaming closer to reality.
An example of this is Mike Conley's floater. Everybody that LOVES the game knows that Conley although he is a lefty, shoots floaters with his right hand exclusively. Of course this has been missed in every volume of 2K but at least in NBA 2K13, fans had the opportunity to change his shots for a more life like representation of Conley's game.
The list goes on and on for incorrect shot forms in the 2K series. We can view cable wires on the court that lead to cameras on the back board and sneaker reflections off of the court glare but to expect EVERY players' shooting form to be as close to reality as possible appears to be just TOO much to ask.
If I can take half of an NBA season to improve every players shot and style of play through youtube viewing in order to enjoy my gaming experience to the max, then a 2K16 must have should be better representations of player shots and style of play. If not, then at least return the fans' options to get as much right as possible because being sucked into which ever floater animation the game chooses seems to be a bit primitive considering how far we have come in the gaming world.
