Its Not for the Obvious reason that you are truly living the dream alot of us have. Its not because watching Football is part of your job. Its not because you can directly affect The best selling yearly Video game franchise, EVER.

You are lucky because you have an Army of people who are actively trying to make your job easier. I Cannot think of another job that has this many people who try and help the creators make a better product.

Hell, When I was in the Army I would have loved a forum where people are constantly giving me tips to do my job better.

Agreed. We really appreciate this opportunity.

I actually think makers of web sites have it better. They can constantly update their 'product' whenever they want based on their visitor's feedback. We're limited to one product release + a couple of patches each year.

I think the luck runs both ways though. There aren't many products that allow their fans to have direct access to the devs like this. While great for us, it's also great for you in knowing that you might have directly impacted the development of your favorite game.

Right on the $ Cuse. Man, Iwork in IT and there are ton of sites, forums and a product marketplace for Users to give tips and ideas to all of us who use our core programming. Bad thing is it is plagued by the same type of dooshes that troll OS at times and the "help" and "tips" provided end up coming off like these jerkfaces invented teh "internets". Ian also had t right with his blog "quit asking for a new engine crap."
