Trading into Game Stop is a good idea right now but if you have an older game like Madden 08 you would make a lot more money selling it on Ebay. I suggest trading in newer games to Game Stop right now but after the 50% bonus ends you would make a lot more money on eBay towards that new game you want.

Glyde may actually trump eBay from a gaming standpoint. Only 10% fee, list in seconds. Check it out. But by all means, DO NOT trade your older games at Gamestop unless you enjoy being robbed.

Gamestop will rob you like crazy when it comes to trade in value on games! Don't do it unless the game is brand new...even then use Ebay 1st.

GameStop really does rob you. I traded in 14 games most of them from 2008 and I only got $14....they were all in great shape to. I probably could have made $75 off of that on Ebay.

If you're going to be trading in towards the purchase of something else, you're better off selling it on Amazon.

gamestop has a deal right now where you get 50% extra on trade ins. i just traded 5 games (nba live 09, NFS carbon, COD: W@W, blazing angels, and one more) either way all older games and i got $45 out of them. a lot more than i expected.

Still you could have sold that on Ebay and got about $80... even with the deal Game Stop has Ebay is still better

With Gamestop's 50% extra trade credit and the Edge 10% too, I got about $40 for Madden 10 360 and $41 for Uncharted 2, $30 for Forza 3. I had been using Amazon or Craigslist, until this latest Gamestop deal. Now just waiting for my Bad Company 2 and MLB 10 to come in tomorrow!

You will probably get about $90 off of that...thats not a bad deal at all but you could still get more on ebay.

Guys,
Just did a trade in of Madden 10 for the PS3 for $40 dollars. It is toward the purchase of Madden 11, but still, now, I only owe about $20 for Madden 11 when it comes out. That was an amazing deal by Gamestop.
