Cubs visited Atlanta for to kick off a three game set and quickly spoiled the Braves home opener. Kyle Hendricks got the ball for the first time this season, going 5 innings and allowing just 2 runs. The Cubs offense brought the bats with them scoring 10 runs on 14 hits. Schwarber, Bryant, and Almora all drove in three. Javy Baez continues to struggle though, going 0 for 5 with a pair of strike outs. Cubs bullpen allowed just 1 run over 4.0 innings. Cubs look to continue the hot start on Wednesday, with a day off tomorrow.
