A Couple Laps at Daytona

Ok, I shot this piece with former NASCAR Driver Brett Bodine last year before the 50th running of the Great American Race, but I finally got around to posting it online.

Here's a look at two laps at Daytona International Speedway, narrated by Brett Bodine. I'm sorry for the bad camera angle, but when you're doing 130mph the G-Forces make the camera a little heavier than it actually is.

Teenage Wasteland...

This actually isn't going to have anything really to do with The Who's Baba O'Reilly, which is a badass song nonetheless. I'm sure you get the catchy title as you read on.

It's like a ghost arena in here. No one comes to visit, no one writes on the chalkboard, it's like a haunted school.

I'm not complaining. I understand that it's hard to keep up on everyone's arenas when you have like 50 friends and no way of getting status updates a la facebook or myspace.

By popular demand, I've added another piece i did at work. This one is on a early morning fire at a local charter school. Luckily it wasn't during the school day, and no one was hurt.

The kids were able to move classes to another building for the next day, so no school time was lost either.

Don't mind the reporter who voiced the piece, his voice is annoying to me. I can't choose who write the piece, just what video I shoot and where it goes...
