The Jazz have traded their 2015 first round draft pick for the Lakers 2014 first round draft pick. This is Kutzke's first move towards loading up on the 2014 class.

The Jazz face a very tough home opener against one of the league's best, the OKC Thunder. The Jazz will need to play as a team and slow down the Westbrook/Durant combo that has become to be known as one of the deadliest in the league. To be honest, things don't look too good for the Jazz. Rookie point guard Trey Burke has a tough matchup in his debut. Vegas has the Jazz as 8 point underdogs at home. Ouch.
