Jazz Appoint New GM Kutzke (Plus GM Note)

Today marked big news for the Jazz organization. The team has hired Chad Kutzke as their new GM. This is Kutzke's first experience in the GM position, however he has big plans for the organization. Kutzke wrote a note to the public about his goals and mission for the team in the upcoming years.
Here it is:

I'm extremely excited to be a part of this organization and be a part of this franchise's upcoming success. We may not have the best roster in the NBA but we are young and will be a force to reckon with not only in the future, but in 2013 as well.
We are in a state of rebuilding, however I believe we can still be competitive and compete for the playoffs this upcoming season.
The 2014 draft is loaded with talent and I would like to acquire multiple draft picks in order to improve our team. Unfortunately, this means trades will have to take place, but I will do anything that I believe is beneficial for the team.
