I still hate the move and I still think almost all the Vikings fans are to hard on TJackson. I mean every team would love to get a QB like Flaco and Ryan that is good right off the bat but that isn't how it always works. In the NFL, they lost the work with a player to get him beter strategy. Its all about, go out and do something. We wont wait until you develop or learn. We will just bench you and say your a problem. I think TJackson has huge potential still and showed it last year. But all people want to look at is the first 2 games he had 4 INT, but 2 droped TD passes that may of made him 2INT-2TD. Yes he choked in the Philly game but you got to realize that:
#1-It was the Philly Def.
#2-His first playoff game.
#3-We have the 2 TE set Offense of Idiot.
Getting Favre really sucks, always hated him and ALWAYS thought he was severely overated. I still dont see how chucking it deep, preying and having your reciever do a awsome catch has anything to do with the QB at all. The dude could hardly throw the ball 40 yards at the end of last year. I have never wished this on anyone before but I hope he gets a career ending injury that will prevent him for ever coming back.

It sounds more like an ex trying to get back at his girlfriend than a man wanting to play football for a TEAM this season. He will still be able to throw for 3400 yards this season and 20 td's but, he will also throw 24 int's and the Vikings will go 8-8 and miss the playoffs.

I wish Arkansas would have stuck Matt Jones at WR and Tavarious Jackson at QB. He was such a talent, as he proved when he went to Alabama St. Yeah, I know it was FCS, but receivers still have to get open and he has to be accurate getting it to them. Throwing to Matt Jones would have given him the same margin of error due to his Liliputian stature against all of the DB's he would have faced. Houston Nutt was, and still is, terrible at developing QB's and letting his coaches coach. That's sad considering he was a QB himself. If he doesn't have a decent QB that need little to no development he can't do anything with them. Heck, when he took the Arkansas job Stoerner regressed in his second year!
What I mean by the above paragraph is still talented and should have sat a year before being thrown to the wolves his rookie year with Tice as his coach. He is another David Garrard, only with a better arm and more athletic. Had he started his freshman year, true or redshirt, with the A+ athlete and heacase at WR come his sophmore year Arkansas would have had the passing attack it hasn't had since Nutt's first year and Tavarious Jackson, with his great arm and mobility, would have developed into a good QB and possibly would have been a better NFL QB, especially if he would have had a real QB coach and stayed for his senior season.
Basically...I agree with this blogger. Give him time to develop and room to make mistakes. Oh, and give him decent WR's. The Troy Williamson experiment failed and that's why Minnesota drafted a WR in the first round this year.

Favre doesn't groom anyone. He is a selfish and a *** of a player. The reciever issue is ok now. Berrian, Rice, etc. We got targets to throw to.

I love TJ but to say that Brett Favre will come in and they will not make the playoffs is just ignorant! One of the dumbest things i have ever heard in my life! TJ can learn alot from brett cuz i think he has potential but the vikes will be a much better team with Favre running the show!

As a Viking fan, I want no part of Brett Favre. Ignorance be damned. Didn't help the Jets make the playoffs last season did it?
