Just ruined a game

So I'm playing a game in my Online CC. It's against the CPU, I'm the Rams going against the Cardinals.

Nothing really special happens all game until the last 6 minutes. I am down by 11, I drive down the field and kick a 54 yard field goal. I get the ball back with 4 minutes to go. Bradford is throws a 60ish yard touchdown and I attempt the 2-point conversion. Bradford is sacked. 24-22. So there is only 1:30 left on the clock. I decide to just kick off since I have my 3 timeouts. They get a 60 yard pass all the way down the field on 3rd down. I then intercept a pass. 1 minute left with around 50 yards to go, no timeouts. My first two passes are deflected and what not, but then I get a 70ish yard pass to Steve Smith down the side line. There is still about 40 seconds left on the clock and I want to waste some time so they can't make a comeback. I run the ball twice, when I realize that I don't have any timeouts and I need to hurry up and get a FG. I go to "Ask Madden" and they just have passing plays, 10 seconds to go. I freak out and desperately try to get to the Special Teams formation but I choose Shot Gun. I think, "Maybe I can just throw it away and have a few seconds left. But I choose a running play. I have 7 seconds left, I could have easily hit the FG but I freaked out.

Jackson runs for 3 yards and I lose the game. Now 2-3, I feel like the Packers.
