What is Everyone Playing this Holiday Season?

With the holiday game release rush in full effect, I've been seeing my sports gaming playtime decrease in an exponential fashion (wow, I knew calculus terminology would come in handy one day!). It seems like every November the gaming lineup across all three systems gets stronger and stronger. 2009 has already been an exceptional year for sports gaming, and is turning out to be a ground-breaking year in terms of action games, shooters, and platformers.

Personally, you'll find me helplessly addicted to Gears of War 2. Between battling the Locust horde I'll be playing EASHL games, playing my way through my UCF online dynasty with my old college roommates, and getting in the occasional NBA Live rewind DNA game just for fun. Eventually I'm moving on to Fable 2, but I am somewhat embarrassed to admit my "unfinished gaming business" I need to attend to before the start of the new year, and before I tackle more of the "new" games- see below:

1.) Finish Mario Galaxy (been working on it for 2 years)
2.) Finish Zelda Twilight Princess (working on it for almost a year)
3.) Finally make the Tigers with my MLB RTTS player (apparently they don't call up left fielders that hit .330 two straight years).
4.) Reach level 55 in COD4's multiplayer (ok, I know it's pathetic, but I've been busy with a sports game addiction).

So there you have it, I am waaaay behind in my gaming accomplishments. What about you all-Gears of War 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Banjo Kazooie N&B's, COD: WAW, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2- where does any gamer have time to tackle all of this years big hitters? What are you all playing this Holiday season? Are you sticking with one specific game? Are you trying to balance them all? Or are you like me with a backlog of incomplete projects.
