Buck Rogers and the Florida Gators narrowly missed out on earning a birth to the BCS Championship game but did earn a trip to the All State Sugar Bowl to face off with the Cincinnati Bearcats. Buck Rogers earned some national recognition when he was named to the Freshman All-American team. Rogers' leadership was noticeable in the meeting room and on the practice field as he outperformed any other training session in the days leading up to the Sugar Bowl.

Practice
Buck Rogers and the Florida Gators came through in week 13 with a big win over in-state rival Florida State. Rogers was able to over come some bad passes and lead the Gators to the victory. His performance has earned him more of the Coach's trust. The Gators' Head Coach was quoted stating, "Rogers is no longer a freshman, he is an experienced veteran and our field general". Practice
Confidence was high in Gator's practices this week. Coming off of a blow out win over FCS Furman, the Gators felt prepared to take on their in-state rival Seminoles. Buck Rogers has truly become a team leader this season and has earned enough trust from his coaches to provide some input into some of the play calling.

Practice
Buck Rogers status remains day to day after suffering a strained left shoulder in the Gators week 11 victory over South Carolina. Rogers took all of the snaps with the first team offense and stated to the press that he felt good and will be ready on Saturday. Florida coaches were a little less optimistic stating that they will continue to monitor Rogers health and decide on Saturday whether or not to play him.

Practice
After escaping last week's game against Vandy with a win, the pressure was high in Gainesville leading up the this weeks game against South Carolina. The pressure was noticeable at the beginning of practice as the offense struggled. Rogers was able to pull it together and get on the plane to Columbia with confidence.

Practice
Coming off of the big win against Georgia, Buck Rogers has become a hometown hero in Gainesville. Rogers has struggled in the second half of games and needs to work hard in practice to clean that up. Practice this week was average. The emotional high of the win over Georgia and the talk about a week 11 match up with South Carolina have seemingly caused the Gators squad to run through the motions this week on the practice field.

Practice
The Florida Gators enjoyed a bye in week 8 and got back to work in week 9 to prepare for a match up with their bitter rivals, the Bulldogs from Georgia. Practice was closed to the media, with the Florida coaching staff stating that there was extenuating CPU issues during practice that did not allow for it to be shown. Despite his second half struggles, Buck Rogers' fame is growing around Gainesville and he is on his way to becoming a bit of a Hometown Hero.

Practice
On the heels of leading a come from behind victory in week 6 over the LSU Tigers, Buck Rogers has been elected to be a team captain by the players and coaching staff. This means that he will be given some latitude to provide input on play calling in certain situations. The Gators did not look sharp in practice this week but are favored over the Auburn Tigers.

Buck Rogers and the Florida Gators got back to work on the practice field following the tough loss to #1 Alabama in week 5. Practice began slow as they were trying to solidify their screen game. As practice went on, Rogers solidified his position as a veteran quarterback.

The Florida Gators confidence was high after coming home from their first road trip of the season in which they were able to outlast the Kentucky Wildcats to remain undefeated on the season at 4-0 (2-0 in the SEC). The Gators' coaching staff were pleased with the poise that young Buck Rogers demonstrated in his first game in a hostile environment. Having already secured the starting QB role in week 3, Buck Rogers was able to enter week 4 focused on learning the playbook and trying to earn enough trust from the coaching staff to have some additional control of the play calling at the line of scrimmage. Rogers practiced with precision and accuracy an showed that he is well on his way to becoming a veteran QB.

Practice
Buck Rogers' first career start was a success as he threw for 3 TD passes and over 200 yards, leading the Gators to a victory over UAB. Rogers' performance earned the confidence of the head coach and put him into position to challenge for the starting job at QB. Rogers' confidence was evident as he was able to secure the permanent starting job in the first half of practice.

Buck Rogers performed well in his first week and was called upon to finish the 4th quarter when the starting QB went down with an undisclosed injury. Rogers would take all of the snaps in practice with the first team offense but it appeared that the pressure of his first potential start was getting to him as he was still unable to gain enough of the coach's trust to challenge for the full time starting position.

Buck Rogers worked hard in the summer after high school to prepare for his freshman season at the University of Florida. This included moving to Gainesville so that he could be involved in the summer weight lifting and conditioning programs. The programs paid off and there was noticeable improvements. One workout, "the triple rainbow", improved Rogers' throw power and accuracy and another one, "the long ball", improved his throw power and awareness. QB Recruit Buck Rogers shocked everyone today when he announced that he would be attending the University of Florida during the US Army All-American Bowl. Rogers had previously verbally committed to attend USC in hopes of becoming the next QB of the Trojans.
