Buck Rogers and the Florida Gators are riding high after their Week 13 victory over Auburn. Florida finished with an undefeated SEC regular season and currently have the nations longest winning streak. Rogers continues to throw the ball around and leads the nation in passing yards with over 3,500. Rogers and the Gators have clinched a spot in the SEC Championship with their victory last week over South Carolina, but Florida has their sights set on continuing their winning ways to earn a spot in the BCS Championship game. Buck Rogers still held a firm spot at the top of the leader boards for passing coming into week 12. The winning ways has been contagious and Rogers leads a cast of several Florida players that is gaining recognition. The Gators welcomed their rivals from South Carolina into Gainesville with a chance to secure the SEC East slot in the SEC Championship game on the line for Florida.

The Gators and Buck Rogers looked to ride the emotional high of their big win against their rivals, the Bulldogs from Georgia, as they traveled to Nashville to face the Commodores of Vanderbilt. Rogers continues to be a nominee for the Heisman trophy and this week was announced to be a semi-finalist for the Maxwell, Walter Camp, and OBrien awards.

Rogers and the Gators come off of their back to back bye weeks healthy and ready for the stretch run. Their first game back is against a bitter rival and undefeated team, the Bulldogs from Georgia. Buck Rogers enters week 7 looking forward to a key matchup with the LSU Tigers. Rogers leads the NCAA in passing yards with 2,020 after 6 games. Rogers and the Gators looked sluggish in practice with several poorly thrown balls and dropped passes.

Buck Rogers and the Gators are riding high after an impressive win over Kentucky. Rogers does feel that there are definitely areas of his game that need improvement, "I tried to force several passes last week and I am lucky that only one of them was intercepted" stated Rogers at the weekly press conference. Buck Rogers success last week against the Tennessee Volunteers has him at the top of a very short list for potential Heisman Trophy winners. Many pundits have stated that if the season were to end today, he would be their pick. Buck Rogers has dominated the tune-up games that were scheduled to begin this season and has gained national recognition along the way. Rogers has already been named NCAA and SEC Player of the Week twice this season in the first three weeks and has accounted for 17 total TDs (16 passing and 1 rushing). Buck Rogers has had outstanding performances in the Gators first two games of his sophomore season which has led to a lot of notoriety. Rogers success has put him on many people's radar as a Heisman Trophy candidate. Some pundits want to see if he is able to perform against SEC caliber defenses before they will buy into the hype. The stress of being a Heisman candidate may have got to Rogers a little bit as he struggled at practice this week.

Buck Rogers looked sharp in week 1 against Eastern Michigan and continued to impress the coaching staff in practice for week 2. Buck Rogers enters his sophomore season with high expectations. Rogers finished his freshman season strong and earned a nod as an All-American at QB for freshman. "I threw too many interceptions and forced too many passes last season. I have spent the off season learning how to watch film and understand defenses" stated Rogers during media day. Buck Rogers and the Florida Gators narrowly missed out on earning a birth to the BCS Championship game but did earn a trip to the All State Sugar Bowl to face off with the Cincinnati Bearcats. Buck Rogers earned some national recognition when he was named to the Freshman All-American team. Rogers' leadership was noticeable in the meeting room and on the practice field as he outperformed any other training session in the days leading up to the Sugar Bowl.

Buck Rogers and the Florida Gators came through in week 13 with a big win over in-state rival Florida State. Rogers was able to over come some bad passes and lead the Gators to the victory. His performance has earned him more of the Coach's trust. The Gators' Head Coach was quoted stating, "Rogers is no longer a freshman, he is an experienced veteran and our field general".
