Rogers stated, "If you asked me a year ago, I would have never expected that a SEC school would be heavily recruiting me. Ultimately I felt that the location, tradition, players, facilities and coaching staff at the University of Florida gave me the best opportunity to become the caliber of player that I want to become."
Rogers will wear uniform number 16 and expects to learn behind a talented veteran QB. The Gators are excited to sign the top recruit in the nation at QB and look forward to seeing Rogers mature into what they can only hope is an All-American talent.
