My current Madden Wish List:
- Proper physics in all aspects, whether on the ball, in the trenches, the QB's arm, or running into the refs.
- Proper AI that can accurately simulate a Sunday game of football in the NFL
- Playbooks that more closely resemble the actual product and allow flexibility in playcalling.
- A franchise mode that better simulates scouting, the draft, and the locker room. I want to deal with locker room chemistry, disgruntled players, ... Read More

Hello again everyone!
I've been playing Madden with one mode exclusively: offline franchise. One of the biggest draws for me, in any sports game, is the ability to grow my franchise team and build it into a perennial champion. The two series I play the most are the Madden series and the NHL series.
This year, we've been graced with new franchise mode additions. Today, I want to go over why I think scouting, despite improvement, needs some work. I'll bullet-point ... Read More

Yeah, this isn't sports, but it relates to driving, and we drive to stadiums, right? So whatever happened to the courtesy wave? I let a guy in from an on-ramp, and I get nothing. I've even been flipped off because I waved at them first after letting them in. What's happening to us that we've entirely forgotten how to be courteous? If someone obviously slows down and allows you into a lane, wave to them and say thanks! It lets them know you appreciated their kindness, and they're more likely ... Read More

Everybody wants to look for a reason to write off a franchise like Madden. The staff left, the "engine" sucks, EA suits are cash hogs. The list goes on. I'm here to tell you to chill out, enjoy the game, and listen why Madden is going to get better.
1) It's not "an engine."
People always want the developers to "start over with a new engine." Most of the time, they're referring to physics being introduced into Madden. For starters, Madden doesn't have "an engine." ... Read More
