NCAA Football 12 Post Patch Roster Workaround

Edit 9-14-11: You don't need to do this anymore if the roster make downloads the patch, then updates the roster correctly, and uploads the new version.

Here's what people are saying works although some are still incorrect because of ratings changes. You can change the elusiveness rating of QBs and RBs to get them to where they should be. I copied the steps below from mkharsh33's post.

Edits made on personal file for possible future release:

-Rondo: 50 shot tendency, 95 drive the lane, 20 pull up, 45 attack / 55 pass out (might adjust more), 90 runner, 90 drifter, 65 draw foul, 65 touches, 37 commit foul
-Fixed Clippers jersey numbers
-Adjusted PG attack / pass out ratio to be more in line with 2K10 tendencies

Running list of things from the roster project that should be fine tuned and double checked before release.

- CAP ratings / tendencies / potential
- transactions
- Potential comb over
- Quick plays for certain players - scorers like Melo, Durant etc. since they include a lot of 3 pt plays

I'm compiling a list of glitches or problems in NBA 2K10 after the 2nd patch came out. I think it's a good idea to compile these things to be able to reference them next year so we can make sure 2K is reminded about them and so we can all run tests once the game comes out to make sure these specific problems are fixed.

Here's my own wish list. Maybe some will make the patch? Maybe next year?

1. Customizable formation subs / depth charts (within the rules of the game). Why can't we even make subs on kickoffs?

2. Fix blocking - logic and make ratings matter. We've all seen the videos of the midget lineman beasting 300 pound DEs.

How does everyone feel about short development cycles? We should all realize and acknowledge that tough decisions have to be made and not-so-perfect games will be released based on the yearly development cycle for sports games. Specifically, some of the moderators at 2k discussed this recently. By now, this should be general knowledge anyways. 2K10 Frame-rate Issues

Seriously, this problem is unacceptable. The problem was pretty bad last year and they said it was "addressed" with the patch. It wasn't. There was still considerable lag during the first FT and during games using certain camera angles in certain stadiums.

This year it's still there, again using certain camera angles and playing in certain venues. You can do a combination of things with minimal presentation turned on like the game ticker and still find frame-rate problems. This ... Read More

Madden 10 Sliders

I've been following DFos and and his slider threads so these are based off of his slider set and his Coaching Sliders. Penalties and sub sliders are definitely up for interpretation. The CPU Pass Block slider is definitely backwards, or it has the unintended consequence of making the pass rush easier because it engages the block animations quicker. I did a lot of testing with this in Practice Mode with it at both 0 and 100. Let me know what you think.
