NCAA Football 12 Post Patch Roster Workaround Stuck

Edit 9-14-11: You don't need to do this anymore if the roster make downloads the patch, then updates the roster correctly, and uploads the new version.

Here's what people are saying works although some are still incorrect because of ratings changes. You can change the elusiveness rating of QBs and RBs to get them to where they should be. I copied the steps below from mkharsh33's post.

1. Download rosters from locker (save as Mustangs84 - he is doing most recent updates.)

2. Delete patch (NOTE: you do so by going into your game in your hard drive memory and delete the title #2 update - you can no longer just clear cache to remove title updates - this must have recently changed!!!).

3. Go into game without downloading the patch.

4. Save previously downloaded rosters as a new file with a new name (I named them "rosters"). Delete the "Mustangs84" file.

5. Exit and quit game.

6. Download patch and the roster tendencies will now work

@TxCountryBoy - 360 but i'm using the mustangs84 roster which is fixed and you don't need a workaround.

@elementz09 - honestly i'm not sure. can you use custom rosters for OD? I don't play that mode. if so, probably.

I have a question about this. Yesterday, I downloaded Yukon's latest roster without doing anything. From a quick check, the tendencies in that roster were already fine, even though I had not saved the roster on my hard drive. QBs were now pocket passers when they should be, speed backs were done right, DEs became pass rushers and DTs run stoppers.

So why would that be?

If I do it again and go through all these steps, how exactly do I rename the saved file? Do I load it, edit a guy, then re-save the file, or is there some other, easier way to rename and re-save it?

@ andygilbert - i would get it. it fixes a lot of things but it does create a few problems like the no huddle mess

@ trojan and xblake - if the roster makers get the patch, fix everything and upload their newest version you won't need the work around
