First I would like to start with the lack of the "small things" in 09. The "small thing" that annoyed me to no end would have to be not having the correct hair on the correct players, I would list them if the list was not so long. The worst part of this would be seeing player "X" who has long hair, yet in the game he has a buzzcut or something. This list probably goes into the hundreds, now to see if it has been addressed in Madden 10.

From all of the videos and screenshots I have seen every player has had the correct hair with the exception of one. Santanio Holmes who in game has his short dreads but he has gotten his hair cut since then and now has a buzzcut, possibly a fade. I am happy if this list were to lower to only being in the dozens this year in Madden 10, of course none would be ideal but may be a little too much to ask.

Now on to a new "small thing" in Madden 10, I am really excited about this added accessory. These new accessories are Hand Towels and Hand warmers, which of course were not in 09. I am really happy about this feature especially since it is being done correctly and they are animated.

I am also happy about this new "small thing" being implemented this year in Madden 10. The secondary glove colors for too long these have not been in Madden and it will be nice to see the Seahawks players wearing the bright green gloves, but this has not yet been announced for cleats. I'm not a huge accessory "freak" like a lot of you here on OS, but I would like to see these in 10 but if they aren't it would not matter a whole lot to me.

Another great "small thing" that has been added is for the Steelers and a couple other teams is having a single digit number on the stripe instead of to the side of it, which also was not in Madden 09. There is one more "small thing" added that I would like to mention and that is the EA team has at last fixed the stretched out names on the back of players jerseys.
