On Sportscenter, Head Coach Ron Rivera was asked who will the starting QB of the Panthers be in the upcoming weeks. His answer: It's not set in stone for the weeks after next week, but as of right now, the Panthers starting QB will be Jimmy Clausen. I feel that being a pocket passer, it will benefit us this season in our chase to the playoffs. Our second string will be Cam Newton, and our third string is Terrelle Pryor.

Q: What are the main position scouting for this years draft?
A: Well we still have two first round picks from us and the bears, then we have a fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh round pick from our own team. We will be focusing on our wide receivers, left guard, punter, and Olindo Mare might want to retire soon so another kicker.

Q: What about a Left Outside Linebacker, they seem to be a weak spot in your defense?
A: Well, starting next week Casey Matthews will be our starting left outside linebacker.
