MLB 10: The Show Stadium Tour
Posted on March 4, 2010 at 03:10 AM.
If you have visited the MLB 10: The Show ***MLB '10: The Show Pictures/Videos/Highlights*** thread recently, you would notice that I posted an onslaught of screenshots showing off the baseball stadiums in MLB 10: The Show for PlayStation 3. It has four shots of every team's stadium, showing the different times of day (most all of them are 1st and 9th inning showings for both the day and night settings of the game). So you get to see the full transition.

Great job. Love to see all of them.

Question, do you use a paid version of Image Shack or the free one? I hate how photobucket free re-sizes all the pictures to be smaller.

I notice Image Shack is not re-sizing them.

# 2 rspencer86 @ Mar 4
Imageshack hosts full-res images for free. Much better that photobucket.

Awesome work on the stadium tour.

# 3 Blzer @ Mar 4
Yeah EN, I normally love Photobucket as a whole, but since they do re-sizing, I have to use ImageShack for uncompressed images.

If only I was at home, I could have taken these in 1080p. Oh well.

Thanks for the heads up. I will use ImageShack as well. Love the stadium pics again.

# 5 Blzer @ Mar 4
Thanks man, this took a long time haha.

I love how you set these up... the camera is consistent, and it shows the lighting transitions well. I'm opening up all the images in different tabs just to flip through them and see the shadows move (except Tropicana Field, that is).

Blzer, fantastic job. Some of those are breathtaking shots. It really scratches my itch to encourage me to travel and see some more stadiums. Wife wants me to go to Cincy, Great American Ballpark on the docket after seeing these shots!

# 8 econoodle @ Mar 8
holyo moly this is awesome
can u do 2k10?
i love that they have the 4pm start times. that transition to 7pm is butter baby, butter.

moving shadows too!

yea, show got work to do in this department to catch up to 2k

# 9 Blzer @ Mar 8
2K would be tough to do for numerous reasons. First of all, they don't have a screenshot capture system as efficient as The Show has. Secondly, you can't increase the depth of field in replay mode quite the same way. Also I haven't tried yet, but I don't know if Super Sim will fast forward the time of day if I wanted to capture the ninth inning (based on this series' history as well as highlights at the end of the game being based on the time of day at the end of the game as well).

Not to mention this took over six hours to do just for The Show. I can't imagine how long it would take to do again. Haha for me, once is enough. :-P

# 10 econoodle @ Mar 9
i understand, this was good enough!
good man.
how do u do screen cap in mlb 10?

Nice Work!

Nice Work! Is it possible to get really close up photos of the scoreboard of each park? Not sure if it is possible. If you can either help me with a few parks or let me know how you did it so that I can do it myself.

Thanks

JT

Hey sorry man, I've been on hiatus for over a month now and never saw this comment. I may be able to do this sometime next week, but this really does take a long time to do. Are there maybe some specific scoreboards that you want as opposed to all of them?

# 14 Thomasja99 @ Aug 27
Yeah,

Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, AT&T Park, Minute Maid Park, Petco Park & Chase Field to start.

I own the game on the PS3 and if you could tell me how you do it, I maybe be able to do it on my own.

Thanks

JT

Do you mean how to save images to your PS3, or how to get a good view of what you want to take a picture of?

If the first thing, go to your XMB any time while playing and go to the Photos section. There will be a "Save Screenshot" feature there (exclusive to this game, not for all games).

If the second thing, just create the right angle. Maybe for scoreboards you'll have to lock on the ball in mid-flight or something. To get that depth of field, I believe you use the right analog stick and pull it downward or something like that.

I won't be able to do it for a couple of days, I'm just moving into my dorm today.
