Jays, Rangers and Pirates Complete Three Team Deal

Just as the month of May is beginning, the time of many ballplayers with their teams are coming to and end. The Toronto Blue Jays, Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to a complete a three team deal that will see seven players going to different teams. The players involved in the deal are prospects Jordy Mercer, Justin Miller and Justin Wilson as well as veterans J.A. Happ, Luis Perez and Jeff Baker.

The Blue Jays will receive right handed pitcher Justin Miller, lefty Justin Wilson and veteran utility man Jeff Baker. The Pirates get the best player in the deal by acquiring starter J.A. Happ. The Rangers got lefty reliever Luis Perez from Toronto and shortstop prospect Jordy Mercer from Pittsburgh.
