The Jays continue their dominance, improving to 38-3 and showed their stuff vs. New York and Boston getting double digits in runs in both games and having 3 of the top home run hitters in Bautista, Lawrie, and Arencieba. Everyone is clicking, and the team is firing on all cylinders.

Game 38: Toronto Blue Jays 8, LA Angels 3:

- The Jays get a win here behind 3 innings of 2 hit shutout ball from Jimenez. Jose Bautista got his 17 HR of the season which drove in 2 runs. Teixiera hit a RBI double, Lawrie a 2-RBI double, Joyce a RBI double, Jay a RBI single and Arencieba a Sacrifice Fly to complete the scoring for Toronto. The Angels got 2 home runs off of Johnson and Morales for 3 runs but thats all they would get.

- Toronto got another blowout win vs. Oakland behind 4 innings of 2 hit ball from Alvarez. His only blunder was a RBI single to Seth Smith. The Jays got a HR from Arencieba his 7th of the year which drove in 2 runs. They also got a HR from Ramirez, his 3rd of the season for 2 RBI. Teixiera, Heyward and Jay all got RBI singles and Lawrie received a RBI on a ground out.

- The Jays destroy Boston. Romero allowed 2 runs on 5 hits over 3 innings. The 2 runs were to Gonzalez who had a 2-Run HR. Ortiz hit a RBI single later to complete the scoring for Boston. Toronto got a solo HR from Lawrie who reached HR number 10, and a 2-Run HR from Arencieba who homered for consecutive games. Joyce hit 2 RBI singles, and a RBI double, Ramirez had a 2 RBI double, and Brown had a 2 RBI single. Heyward had 2 RBI singles, and Bautista had a 2 RBI triple to center.

- Toronto gets their 2nd consecutive game with double digit runs. Beachy pitched 4 innings of 2 hit shutout ball. The only Yankees run came by Cano's RBI single off Cordero. Toronto got Home Runs from Arencieba, Teixiera, Heyward, and Joyce. Joyce and Heyward both hit solo HR's Teixiera hit a 3-Run HR, and Arencieba hit a 3-Run HR which was his 3rd consecutive one. Ramirez hit a RBI single, and Bautista a RBI double to complete Toronto's scoring line.
