Blue Jays get Ryan Howard, David Freese & Howie Kendrick in 3 Deals - Shake up Team!

* The fans wanted a shake up so here it is...going all in for this season while still keeping future somewhat intact. Last season's result wasn't good enough.*

3 DEALS TO START THE SEASON (BLOCKBUSTER):
- The Blue Jays have made a blockbuster move which will shake up the team sending 1B Adam Lind, DH Carlos Quentin, and LF Trayvon Robinson to Philly for 1B Ryan Howard, and LF Domonic Brown. The Jays wanted a scary bat behind Bautista and man oh man did they get it acquiring Howard. They had to give up newly signed DH Quentin and young LF Robinson, but get a great young OF back in Brown.

- The Jays make a 2nd trade, involving a sign a trade where they sent 2B Kelly Johnson, and AAA Prospect RF Jeff Powell to the Angels for 2B Howie Kendrick. The team wanted more of a contact hitter who could play more positions and get that with Kendrick.

- The 3rd and final deal, the Jays traded big Prospect C Travis d'Arnaud, CF Franklin Gutierrez, SS Elliot Johnson (AAA) to the Cardinals for 3B David Freese, CF Jon Jay, SS Yuniesky Betancourt. Toronto was looking to unload one of their C and was expected to be Arencieba, but the team liked the return they got for D'Arnaud getting a nice bat in Freese and a better CF option off the bench than Gutierrez and his 9 M contract. Betancourt will take over SS in the minors and was sent to AAA. The Jays signed C Rod Barajas to backup Catcher.
