- The Jays seem to struggle against Detroit, losing this one 3-2 despite getting 9 hits off of Fister. Chacin got his 1st loss since the 1st month of the season after a 3 inning 5 hit, 2 run game. Fielder got it started in the 1st with an RBI single. In the 3rd, Cabrera, hit a 2-RBI single to make it 3-0. The Jays made it close after a Trayvon Robinson solo HR, and a Bautista RBI single but couldn't get any closer losing 3-2.

- The Jays end their mini 2 game losing streak by beating up the Orioles behind Alvarez 3 inning, 3 hit, 1run game fanning 3. Alvarez has been great this year in his rookie season with a 7-1 record. The Jays started it off in the 1st as Lind hit an RBI double to make it 1-0. The Orioles in the same inning got an RBI single from Adam Jones to make it 1-1. There was no action until the 4th when Delmon Young hit a 2RBI double, Johnson an RBI double, and Eric Thames (as a pinch hitter) driving in 2 RBI with a single to finish the game 6-1.
Game 42: Blue Jays 5, Yankees 0:
W: Beachy (8-1), L: Hughes (3-4)

- The Jays continue their domination of the Yankees this season behind a PERFECT GAME by Brandon Beachy who's a contender with Chacin from Toronto, and others for the Cy Young award. The perfect game is the 2nd of the Jays incredible season. In the 1st, Bautista hit a 2-RBI double to make it 2-0. The next inning, Lawrie hit a solo HR, his 7th of the year, and Johnson hit an RBI single to make it 4-0. In the 3rd Bautista hit another double this time getting 1RBI to make it 5-0 and ending the scoring.
Game 43: Blue Jays 5, Rays 1:
W: Luebke (4-3), L: Niemann (2-5)
Blue Jays:
Jackson - 2/3 RBI, 2R, 2-2B, K
Young - 0/1 RBI, SF
Bautista - 1/1 RBI, BB
Lawrie - 1/2 R, 2B
Arencieba - 2/2 RBI, R

- The Jays get another nice win here vs. Baltimore, led by Luebke 3 inning 4 hit, 1 run game while striking out 3. The Jays got a RBI single by Bautista in the 1st to make it 1-0. The 2nd saw Adam Jones RBI single tie it, but then Arencieba RBI single, Jackson RBI double, Young Sacrifice Fly, and Lind Sacrifice Fly made it 5-1 which would be the final score.

thanks..im planning on playin my regular crew for the next 4 games....and the final 5 games will be all reserves. i play 1 game and done playoffs so ill be using romero, chacin, beachy. so ill bring up drabek, mcgowan, and penny as i get to those last 5 games.

Should be interesting down the stretch to see the callups get some time to audition for a post season roster spot. Nice job sir
